On Wednesday, May 6, Bill Blake of AMS Planning and Research presented an Operating Plan for the new Dave and Roma McCoy Arts and Cultural Center that will not only provide the necessary financial, structural and programming framework necessary for the successful operation of the facility.

Happy New Year! And we (finally) have snow! Construction will continue as the weather permits...

Town Council also approved a $1.5 million General Fund contribution to set up a Construction Contingency Fund for the project and also $250,000 for a design change to use burnished concrete masonry units as recommended by the Planning and Economic Development Commission's Advisory Design Panel.
November 2, 2025 Construction will continue as long as possible this fall, weather dependent. Foundation work is underway, and the connection to the old Edison Hall is in progress.


August 6, 2025 Representatives and dignitaries from the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Mono County, Mammoth Lakes Foundation (MLF), Kern Community College District, Mammoth Lakes Recreation (MLR), local arts and cultural organizations and over 50 people, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mammoth Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) that once completed will be called the "Dave and Roma McCoy Arts and Cultural Center."

July 11, 2025 The Town of Mammoth Lakes purchased the eight-acre property from the Mammoth Lakes Foundation.
July 2, 2025 The Mammoth Lakes Town Council awarded the project’s construction contract to Spiess Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of $15,862,000.
