Funds will be raised for two purposes:
Growing a Permanent Endowment for Operations and Maintenance
The Permanent Endowment will provide funding to help keep the operating costs of the facility at a reasonable level and also plan for maintenance over time.
Donations to the endowment will complement an annual contribution of Measure U funds.
Purchasing Specialized Equipment to operate the facility.
Specialized equipment, such as Cinema Audio and Video equipment, Live Streaming equipment and a Microphone Package, have been identified.
This is expected to be a one-time request during the construction period, so that the equipment can be installed before the facility opens.
