Construction of the block walls is complete to the final height.
Installation of the steel roof structure will begin mid-August and is expected to be completed by the end of September.
Work on exterior improvements to the existing Edison Theater has also begun. Staff continues to solidify plans for other interior improvements.
The Town has hired David Baron as the Arts and Culture Manager. He starts work August 17th.

July 13, 2026 -- Concrete columns are complete, and the block walls are continuing to be laid between them. Steel roof beams may be installed toward the end of July/beginning of August.

The Town of Mammoth Lakes has narrowed 60-some applicants to the Arts & Culture Manager position to the top 3 individuals, and has invited representatives from local arts organizations to meet them via a Zoom community panel. This position will oversee the operations of the facility.
